Comments: Floyd McGough: Officially there were 3 KIAs on April 17th, 1971. George Orr Gary Reynolds Willis Andrews Two Others died of wounds later. Lt. Phillip Lee and a guy from E Troop last name Flores. and a Vietnamese Scout. There were several wounded,but only 3 KIAs.
Comments: I was the squadron aviation commander from July 1970 to June 1971. In looking at the KIAs on April 17, 1971 I only saw three names. I did dust off duty for a the WIAs and KIAs that day--as well as a lot of other things--and it seemed that there were more than three KIAs. I hope not, but I feel that there were more. Is the list correct? I forgot who the troop commander was but believe he was new. I would appreciate hearing from anyone who knows about. I have previously had some email contact with Doc Balas, but he was also too busy at teh time to keep track of the numbers of casualties.

Comments: i was sgt leadscout 1st platoon.and 6 alpha with capt max p bailey 69 to 70.served under col.patton i was there in loc nyen loaded up c130 flow in bow doop wow!what a ride.love all you troopers live long and prosper.please help me! were is my capt max bailey and what happend on dec 15th 1969 i took charge of the troop.because i had to no one else. we had 5 KIA 30 WIA.we carred our dead with us had too.
